Parish Council

## Mission and Activities

Parish Council is the representative of the Church in the administration of its affairs. It is responsible for the receipt and disbursement of all general and special funds. Parish Council has the right to promulgate and adopt by-laws for the conduct of its meetings and affairs, provided those by-laws are consistent with the constitution, and that of the Archdiocese.

Parish Council holds one regular meeting on the second Monday of each month.

At the end of each year, Parish Council prepares a report containing in detail all receipts and expenditures of the Church. That report is made available to all Voting members of the Parish, and filed with the Archdiocese.

St. George’s current Constitution was adopted, and subsequently approved by the [Antiochian Archdiocese](http://www.antiochian.org) on October 21, 1997.
