2015 Sunday of the Holy Cross

In Metropolitan Joseph’s encyclical on the Sunday of the Holy Cross, he states “Christ’s death on the cross brought salvation (Col. 2:14; Eph. 2:16) and hence, it was the basis for Christian hope. It is the sign of the supreme sacrifice and the resurrection; it signifies life rather than death.” We celebrate that cross every third Sunday of Lent with a procession following Liturgy.

March is also Antiochian Women’s Month and the women serve in various capacities each Sunday of the month.
