Twelve Local Choirs Join Together for “Festival of Faith”

Orthodox Institute – “Scripture Through the Lens of the Holy Land”

A couple of our church school staff participated in the Orthodox Institute on November 3rd and 4th at the Antiochian Village, where they were enlightened by the Keynote Speaker, Father Thomas Hopko and other presenters.  The event was well attended by by  pan-Orthodox educators from all over North America.

Spinach Pies for Sale — Pick-up Sunday, November 20th

Anyone wishing to order spinach pies (6 for $15 or 12 for $30), please contact the church at 724/335-9988 or Christy at 724/845-3430.  Pick-up date is Sunday, November 20th during coffee hour (11:30 am).  These are great to put in the freezer and pull out for a meal during the Nativity Lenten period which begins 11/15th.

Myrrh Bearing Ladies Banquet at Oakmont Country Club

Our Myrrh Bearing Ladies enjoyed wonderful fellowship at Oakmonth Country Club on Sunday, November 6th.  Following a delicious luncheon, the ladies had a friendly “Jeopardy” competition, with lots of laughs.  Then several fortunate ladies’ names were picked to receive the beautiful fall centerpieces.  A raffle was held for a homemade blanket donated by Donna Moses, with the money going to the family […]
