Sharing Valentines with our Shut-Ins
On Sunday, February 6th, our church school children made valentines for our parishioners who are shut-ins. The following Sunday they hand-delivered some of the valentines to a neighbor and parishioners in local nursing homes. We enjoyed our visits with these beautiful people. St. George Hosts Deanery Meeting on St. Meletios Day
On Saturday, February 12th, St. Meletios Day, St. George Orthodox Church hosted the Deanery meeting. We celebrated Liturgy and enjoyed a Syrian luncheon with priests from our local deanery. We were also delighted to have Mother Alexandra from St. Thekla Monastery at the Antiochian Village join us.
